Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) is a software-defined storage solution designed for containerized environments and tightly integrated with the OpenShift Container Platform. It can be deployed on bare-metal servers or VMware virtual machines, on-premises or in the cloud, using a clustered architecture.

Red Hat ODF integrates with Thales CipherTrust Manager to enable centralized encryption key management for storage classes such as Ceph RBD and CephFS, ensuring secure, compliant data protection across OpenShift environments.
